  In June 2025, I was diagnosed with … More frozen shoulder syndrome by an orthopaedic surgeon and told that surgery was the only option to waiting 18 months - 2 years where it would resolve on its own.
  In spite of my initial trepidation (due to horror stories), I called Belper Chiropractic Health Center and spoke to Carl - who listened patiently while I outlined my symptoms, ultrasound and consultation results. He advised I come in for a physical consultation to assess my situation.
  Upon visiting the clinic, both Carl and Danielle quickly allayed all my fears with their knowledge and professionalism, and put together a treatment plan over a 12 week period. Carl was very thorough in his explanation of the findings, gentle in his manipulation of my shoulder joint and guided me through daily rehab exercises to be done at home. At each visit, I felt heard, never rushed and concerns about my rehab or spinal adjustments were always fully addressed.
  This will be my 5th session and I am so amazed at the great progress made in my rehabilitation! I can now place my hand behind my back where before I was in excruciating pain just trying to put it on my waist. I have been able to resume sleeping on my side when I could only lie on my back with my arm propped up by pillows to relieve the pain. The most incredible result is that I am no longer taking pain killers or anti - inflammatories to alleviate the excruciating pain that increased during the night.
  I am very certain that with Carl's treatment, my recovery period would be much shorter than that suggested by the orthopaedic surgeon and, I am so glad that I made the decision to attend the clinic.
  Belper is extremely fortunate to have such an amazing team of professionals and, I am sure that many others will soon attest to the fantastic results achieved from seeing Carl and Danielle.
